Johnny Mendoza ’15 Reports on his ‘Green’ PSF

The President’s Summer Fellowship (PSF) was established two years ago to do something special: offer current students a chance “to think big and tackle a summer project that combines intellectual pursuit, imagination, adventure, personal transformation, and service to the greater good.” (Learn more about the PSF and other “Life Beyond Reed” opportunities here.) This summer Johnny is using his PSF award to develop green chemistry experiments that can be performed by high school students in a not-quite-minimally equipped lab at Bard Queens in New York.
