In honor of Halloween, the residents of Sullivan 2 gathered to celebrate with some pumpkin-themed fun! After filling up on pumpkin scones, pumpkin macaroons, pumpkin muffins, and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, we got our hands dirty carving three large and several small pumpkins to adorn the common room.
Lured in by the smell of free food and the sound of Monty Python, several residents from around Naito-Sullivan joined in. Soon the room was full of Reedies carving (and eating) away.
Letting nothing go to waste, we roasted the pumpkin seeds while watching Monty Python’s Flying Circus, and then marveled at our creations: a rat, vampire, and a stress-relieving pin cushion to name a few. We ended the night with full bellies and contented hearts.
