Reed Centennial event in Israel

Friday, April 20

Weizmann Institute in Rehovot

Time: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.,

a brief tour followed by lunch

The 13 alumni living in Israel include classes from each decade since the 1950s. For most, it will be the first time that they have met each other. Don Green ’54, has organized the event along with those in Israel. He will be visiting his son’s family and following up on a chance meeting in 2010 with Ncoom Gilbar ’79, who led a tour of Shilo, an ancient site believed to be where the Jews lived for 300 years after the Exodus. Gilbar’s mom also went to Reed, Jackie Glasser Gilbert ’56.

If you’ve wondered where some of your classmates ended up, here is a list of those in Israel:

William Silverman ’57

Aharon Schlesinger Sheer ’58

Larry Lewis ’62

Marna Snyder ’69

Laura Schreiber Brass ’74
