Arnold | C&amp;E News\" href=\"http:\/\/cen.acs.org\/articles\/91\/i35\/Polly-L-Arnold.html\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>C&amp;ENews<\/strong> (Sept 2, 2013) <strong>reports<\/strong><\/a> on a new video\/book project, <a title=\"A Chemical Imbalance\" href=\"http:\/\/chemicalimbalance.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>&#8220;A Chemical Imbalance,&#8221;<\/strong><\/a> sponsored by professor <a title=\"PL Arnold lab | U Edinburgh\" href=\"http:\/\/homepages.ed.ac.uk\/parnold\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Polly L. Arnold<\/strong><\/a> at the University of Edinburgh. The project which profiles a history of discrimination in chemistry at the university can be viewed online<strong><\/strong>. Prof. Arnold, who was awarded the Royal Society&#8217;s Rosalind Franklin award in 2012, says, &#8220;The video will make you laugh, and then you\u2019ll be embarrassed by it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>While the battle for gender parity at the University of Edinburgh has been fought for over a century, current signs suggest that parity is nearly at hand.
