The fact that the hallway outside Julie Fry‘s office is festooned with research posters might lead one to think of her as a one-dimensional research scientist, but that has never been the case.
Her CV states that she earned minors in three areas (Physics, German and Women’s Studies) as an undergraduate chemistry major, and that she spent time in a Washington think tank (Environmental and Energy Study Institute) as a Climate Policy Fellow (2006) before making her way to Reed in 2008.
Last week Julie added yet another dimension to her academic laurels. She was granted a Master of Studies in Environmental, Natural Resources, and Energy Law degree by the Lewis and Clark Law School.
You can watch her walk across the stage and receive her master’s hood at this link (skip to minute 48:00).
