The Portland Section ACS will be holding a special event at Reed College to honor the many contributions of Prof. Tom Dunne [chemistry, 1963-1995] to the Portland and Reed College chemistry communities.
- 5:30 – 6:30: Plenary talk in the Vollum Lecture Hall by Dan Stack (Reed ’82), Associate Professor of Chemistry, Stanford University, “Imidazole Ligation Fundamentals: Biological Relevance of Cu(III)?”
- 6:30 – 7:15: Reception with no-host beer & wine & appetizers in Vollum Lounge (including slideshow)
- 7:30 – 8:30: Buffet dinner, Gray Campus Center rooms B-D
- 8:15 – 8:45: after-dinner talks; greetings to Tom via video
