Tucked into this group were quite a few Reedies, past and present. The group in the photograph (left to right: <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/alan\/\"><b>Prof. Alan Shusterman<\/b><\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reed.edu\/chemistry\/fry\/\"><b>Prof. Juliane Fry<\/b><\/a>, <b>Danielle Draper &#8217;13<\/b>, <b>Rhiana Meade &#8217;12<\/b>, and <b>Caleb Arata &#8217;11<\/b>) was discovered in front of an environmental chemistry poster at the Sci-Mix poster session on Monday night. <br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/chemistry_news\/files\/photos\/DenverACS_Fall2011small.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"DenverACS_Fall2011small.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/chemistry_news\/files\/assets_c\/2011\/09\/DenverACS_Fall2011small-thumb-446x239-2144.jpg\" class=\"mt-image-center\" style=\"text-align: center;margin: 0 auto 20px\" height=\"239\" width=\"446\" \/><\/a>Additional Reedies popped up here and there near local restaurants and in the Exhibit Hall. I ran into <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ibp.ethz.ch\/research\/environmentalchemistrymcneill\/Group\/mcneill\"><b>Prof. Kristopher McNeill &#8217;92<\/b><\/a> on his way to dinner with other alumni of Prof. Robert Bergman&#8217;s research group. <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/chemistry_news\/2008\/12\/julia-chamberlin-03-and-maggie-geselbracht-share-tattoos\/\"><b>Dr. Julia Chamberlain &#8217;04<\/b><\/a> was discovered in the Exhibit Hall explaining new interactive simulations under development at the <a href=\"http:\/\/phet.colorado.edu\/\"><b>PhET project<\/b><\/a>. <b>Mike Campbell &#8217;02<\/b> and <b>Vito Spadavecchio &#8217;08<\/b> were likewise presenting new software products from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.schrodinger.com\/\"><b>Schrodinger<\/b><\/a>. Mike and Vito tell me that they both expect to move on during the next year. Mike is planning on letting his creative side (cartoons) off its leash for awhile, while Vito hopes to start business school in another year.
