Apparently she and husband <a title=\"Chemistry News\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/chemistry_news\/2011\/08\/alumni-news-from-reed-magazine-september-10\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>John Caldwell &#8217;96<\/strong><\/a> have been preparing for a new family member (<strong>7\/27\/13 update:<\/strong> scroll to bottom for news about other family projects) because Kate sent in the following email last week: &#8220;We are happy to introduce the latest member of our family, <strong>Luke Maximilian Stoldwell<\/strong>! Born July 13th, at 11:20 pm, 7 lbs 2 oz, 20 1\/4 inches long, and healthy. love, Kate and John&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations! We can&#8217;t wait until we meet the newest member of our Reed family.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/chemistry_news\/files\/2013\/07\/2013-July-Luke-Stoldwell-A.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4164\" alt=\"Luke Stoldwell b. Check out the latest one here. <a title=\"YouTube: NASA | Cosmic Ice\" href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=wceahqjAa7w\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=wceahqjAa7w<\/a> I&#8217;m half way through the second year of my science policy fellowship and loving every minute of it.
