You can see <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.reed.edu\/reunions\/whos_coming\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>who&#8217;s coming<\/strong><\/a> to the Reunion here. Among the visiting chemists &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Harry Traulsen &#8217;11<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Grant Trenary &#8217;11<\/strong>\u00a0made their way up the Woodstock hill to relive\u00a0the joys of Otto&#8217;s fine food. Harry is working for Google in New York, and Grant is a nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital in NW Portland &#8230; <strong>Joe Kliegman &#8217;06<\/strong>\u00a0stopped by to say he&#8217;s taking his Ph.D. to a new\u00a0coast this summer (look for him to pop up in D.C. around August) &#8230; I bumped into\u00a0<strong>Claire Remington &#8217;11<\/strong>\u00a0near the Bookstore and learned that\u00a0she&#8217;s working with another Reedie, Sasha Kramer &#8217;99, on SOIL\u00a0in Haiti &#8230;\u00a0<strong>Paul Whittredge &#8217;12<\/strong> took a short break from his job at Novartis to say hi and discuss life as a married man &#8230;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/chemistry_news\/2016\/03\/arlene-blum-66-urges-action-on-toxic-chemicals\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Arlene Blum &#8217;66<\/strong><\/a> stopped by the Chemistry building on Saturday and told us about her hiking plans for Alaska later this month (&#8220;I&#8217;m going to visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Brooks_Range\" target=\"_blank\">Brooks Range<\/a> with my bad knees. Then I&#8217;m giving a lecture at the regional ACS meeting, <a href=\"http:\/\/norm2016.sites.acs.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">&#8216;Chemistry Under the Midnight Sun.&#8217;<\/a>&#8220;). She also said that the <a href=\"http:\/\/greensciencepolicy.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Green Science Policy Institute<\/a> that she directs in Berkeley is on a solid financial footing and she&#8217;s looking for expert help.
