You can read all about it (and find more photos) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reed.edu\/reed-magazine\/articles\/2019\/great-bakeoff.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to all of the participants who proved beyond any doubt that there <em>are<\/em> alternatives to Commons food! And a special large flour-y pat on the backs of the championship team: M\u00e9lange Ethnique. The M.E. team was comprised of three students from the class of 2019, <strong>chem major Maryam Ahmad \u201919<\/strong>, bio major Edward Zhu \u201919, and linguistics major Ally Watson \u201919.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 610px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/www.reed.edu\/reed-magazine\/articles\/2019\/images\/bakeoff-waiting.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">M\u00e9lange Ethnique (L to R: Ahmad, Zhu, and Watson) pensively await the judges&#8217; decision.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Unfortunately, I didn&#8217;t get to taste the goods that M.E. baked, but I absolutely love the headgear.
