Other blog posts may mention research by neurobiologist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reed.edu\/biology\/professors\/zornik.html\">Dr. Erik Zornik<\/a>, behavioral neuroscientist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reed.edu\/biology\/renn\/index.html\">Dr. Suzy Renn<\/a>, computer scientist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reed.edu\/faculty-profiles\/profiles\/hopkins-mark.html\">Dr. Mark website<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n<h5>Collaborative Research Experience for Undergraduates (CREU)<\/h5>\n<p>This blog grew out of a weekly journal as part of a&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/cra.org\/cra-w\/creu\/\">collaborative&nbsp;REU<\/a>&nbsp; with <strong>Dr. Derek Applewhite<\/strong> and students <strong>Alex King<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Miriam Bern<\/strong>.&nbsp; The REU was sponsored by the Computing Research Association Committee on the Status of Women in Computing Research (<a href=\"http:\/\/cra.org\/cra-w\/\">CRA-W<\/a>), in collaboration with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iaamcs.org\/\">iAAMCS<\/a> AYUR program. &nbsp;Both CREU and iAAMCS are funded by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nsf.gov\/\">National Science Foundation<\/a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: left\">M. J. Murdock Charitable Trust College Research Program for the Natural Sciences (2016-2019)<\/h5>\n<p>This project supported undergraduate summer researchers to computationally study dysregulated signaling in colorectal cancer.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>National Science Foundation (NSF) CAREER Award (2018-2023)<\/h5>\n<p>Many projects fall under Dr. Ritz&#8217;s NSF grant <span style=\"font-size: inherit\"><a href=\"https:\/\/nsf.gov\/awardsearch\/showAward?AWD_ID=1750981\"><em>Network-Based Signaling Pathway Analysis: Methods and Tools for Turning Theory into Practice<\/em><\/a>.
