Make sure you&#8217;re recording yourself in a quiet environment, with no televisions or radios on in the background.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to the QuickTime Player application. Choose File\/New Movie Recording.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/ed-tech\/files\/2018\/03\/quicktime-new-movie-recording.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3783\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/ed-tech\/files\/2018\/03\/quicktime-new-movie-recording-300x214.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"214\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/ed-tech\/files\/2018\/03\/quicktime-new-movie-recording-300x214.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/ed-tech\/files\/2018\/03\/quicktime-new-movie-recording.jpg 510w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 85vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>You should see a live video of yourself. Choose File\/Save.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If you&#8217;re needing to send this file to someone at Reed:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Open a web browser and go to <a href=\"http:\/\/filerobot.reed.edu\">filerobot.reed.edu<\/a>, and in the &#8220;Drop off large files&#8221; section of the screen, type in the person&#8217;s name you are sending to.<\/li>\n<li>Choose the video file you saved by choosing the &#8220;Choose Files&#8221; button, and selecting the file.
