But there are many of us who wonder what &#8220;digital scholarship&#8221; means, or want to know more about digital tools and their use in teaching and research or\u00a0how data relates\u00a0to the humanities, or are curious about how Open Access affects scholarship in different disciplines.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>From March 28 to April 1, Reed is hosting a Digital Scholarship Week to showcase digital scholarship work and delve into digital humanities through presentations and conversations between students, faculty, and staff. The event is a collaboration between the library and Information Technology Services with generous support from the Center for Teaching and Learning.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re especially excited to welcome Dr. Miriam Posner (\u201901) back to Reed to present a lecture on her work, which integrates visual and textual sources. Miriam is a faculty member and coordinator at UCLA\u2019s Center for Digital Humanities. In addition to her lecture, Miriam will lead a workshop for students and faculty. This workshop will be a great way to explore digital scholarship in a hands-on setting.<\/p>\n<p>Events for the week are listed below.
