You will notice that many of the readings in this class are part of a forthcoming book Jews Across the Americas: 1492-present that I am co-editing with Adriana Brodsky, a world renowned expert on Argentinian Jewry. Rather than focusing solely on Jews living in the United States, Jews Across the Americas provides easy access to primary sources from Latin America, the Caribbean, and Canada, as well as the United States. We are grateful that you will be road testing this collection for us, and appreciate any feedback you have about which entries work and which don’t.
