Yeah! Josiah Ford is one of my favorite leaders of the early black synagogues in Harlem. Interestingly, he is from Barbados, and his parents went to the Methodist church in Bridgetown that was run by the aunt of Sarah Brandon Moses (https://shearithisrael.org/sites/default/files/styles/large/public/2015/05/sarahbmoses.jpg?itok=ATfKvaXY). It is only a short skip from the synagogue and we know that congregants went back and forth between the two congregations. Love his connections to UNIA as well. Nicely done!
