Deirdre Baker is currently a senior ICPS-Political Science Major, writing a thesis on international agenda setting and climate refugees. In Jew Across the America’s, she is excited to complicate my understanding of Jewish diaspora, migration, and identity in the Americas. My three learning goals for the semester are:

1. Learn about how folks in the Jewish diaspora form community
2. Investigate how intersectional Jewish identities altered lived experiences
3. Practice my Digital Humanities skills and analysis of non-written evidence
