When this occurs, the year must be added manually (see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.endnote.com\/support\/Faqs\/Import\/faq20.asp\">Support FAQs <\/a>\u00c2\u00a0for more details).<\/p>\n<p>Both EndNote X3 and EndNote Web import the publication date correctly. The easiest solution is to upgrade to EndNote X3.
