This year&#8217;s teacher is <a href=\"https:\/\/guogulaoshi.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Guo Gu<\/strong><\/a>, a leading Chan Buddhist teacher and author. The focus of this year&#8217;s campaign, in addition to helping you start\/strengthen\/deepen your practice of meditation is &#8220;silent illumination&#8221;. (For a quick peek, check out <a href=\"https:\/\/guogulaoshi.com\/practicing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>One Minute Chan<\/strong><\/a> at Guo Gu&#8217;s webpage.)<\/p>\n<p>For those who missed my posts on <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/meditation\/2019\/03\/13\/march-is-meditation-month-at-tricycle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Meditation Month 2019<\/strong><\/a>, the last campaign that I had covered, the month is the time when Tricycle offers a load of free resources to participants. These include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>weekly guided meditation videos led by Guo Gu + 2 <a href=\"https:\/\/zoom.us\/webinar\/register\/WN_DBZ6KBigQYyc35907HZxBQ?_x_zm_rtaid=qok0-UPrTIuZKGEKe_eEiw.1612385430018.858ec6bdb58cb0c61dd9e9cabd4dcb26&amp;_x_zm_rhtaid=743\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">live Q&amp;A<\/a> calls with the teacher<\/li>\n<li>plenty of free readings from the magazine to encourage you<\/li>\n<li>and a two online groups you can connect to, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/170349676937135\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">one on Facebook<\/a>, and another connected to a free meditation app, <a href=\"https:\/\/insighttimer.com\/tricycle\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Insight Timer<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve ever thought to yourself, <em>&#8220;I&#8217;m too busy&#8221;<\/em> and\/or <em>&#8220;It doesn&#8217;t work for me. I guess I can&#8217;t do it&#8221;<\/em>, then this is where you will find a smiling nod of recognition, a gentle pat on the shoulder, and a helping hand, because &#8230; &#8230; &#8230; we have all been there. (And from time to time, I confess, the <em>&#8216;no time, no success, not me&#8217;<\/em> mantra runs into my head and stands in front of me accusingly with its hands on its hips.)<\/p>\n\n\n<p>We still can&#8217;t sit in the Chapel like we used to, but we can still sit.
