How do people think the lava is controlled?<\/p>\n<p><p>\n\tIn many places, we saw shrines that the lava had stopped right in front of. People believe that Jesus had helped them. This picture is of a shrine at the end of the 1998 lava flow which stopped a little way outside of one of the larger towns on the slopes.
