Dear all,
Wanted to share three things with you as we move toward the break:
1) SENIOR BOOTCAMP: If you advise seniors, please refer them to the link. In one day, seniors get a polished resume, cover letter, Linkedin profile, employer and alumni contacts, interview practice (and return to their thesis a little less stressed, we hope).
2) EMPLOYER ENGAGEMENT EVENTS: More than 25 companies (as well as several graduate and law schools) have been on campus this fall to help students write resumes and interview for internships, jobs, or placement. Three more events in spring. All students are invited and seem to love them. Stay tuned.
3) CAREER ADVANCEMENT AWARD: Up to $500 to defray cost of exploring a career-related activity including attending/networking at a professional conference.
We’re here to make career and graduate school exploration accessible to all. We are also open throughout the holidays and available to help students practice for interviews, funding, or get their documents ready.
We hope you had a great semester so far, and we’re grateful for partnership with you in helping students develop at Reed. Their research, writing, and critical thinking skills are in high demand in grad schools and beyond.
Happy Thanksgiving,
Alice
