\n<\/a>This Canyon Day, nOg residents and other assorted Reed students got together to get their hands dirty and make seed bombs.<\/p>\n

Seed bomb: a mixture of dirt, clay, and seed, melded together and allowed to dry before being slung at unsuspecting areas in need of greenery and blossoms.<\/p>\n

The Canyon Crew generously provided us with seed harvested directly from the Canyon. After shelling the\u00a0lupine<\/a>\u00a0and mixing it with\u00a0pearly everlasting<\/a>\u00a0and other seed, we grabbed handfuls of clay and dirt and formed our seed bombs!<\/p>\n

After we were done, we threw some off the bouncy bridge and into the Canyon. Don’t try this at home, kids! The Canyon is a protected area. Zac Perry gave us the go-ahead as the seed was originally from the Canyon.<\/i><\/p>\n

The remaining seed bombs will be allowed to dry so that we may explosively deploy them in other urban areas. Field trip, anyone?<\/p>\n
