The Grove was transformed into Shady Oaks, a small town where a new family family had just moved in and had invited everyone to a house warming party. Party attendees were asked to dress the part and play the roles assigned to them as they arrived.<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/reedreslife\/files\/2012\/11\/mm21.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-639\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/reedreslife\/files\/2012\/11\/mm21-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/reedreslife\/files\/2012\/11\/mm21-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/reedreslife\/files\/2012\/11\/mm21.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Each round we were given clues about our characters and other guests at the party. Our goal was to figure out their history before the end of the night. It was like speed dating as we took turns meeting one another and asking probing questions.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/reedreslife\/files\/2012\/11\/mm3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-624 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/reedreslife\/files\/2012\/11\/mm3-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/reedreslife\/files\/2012\/11\/mm3-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/reedreslife\/files\/2012\/11\/mm3.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Then, a murder occurred!<\/p>\n<p>And everyone, including our host, Isabella Dawson (Danielle Juncal), was alarmed to discover there was a murderer among us.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica;font-size: medium\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/reedreslife\/files\/2012\/11\/mm4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-625 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/reedreslife\/files\/2012\/11\/mm4-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/reedreslife\/files\/2012\/11\/mm4-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/reedreslife\/files\/2012\/11\/mm4.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>After we victimized one another and spread rumors about the suspected killer, we decided that the best way to solve the mystery was through individual confessions. One by one, party attendees gave their alibis&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/reedreslife\/files\/2012\/11\/mm5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-626 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/reedreslife\/files\/2012\/11\/mm5-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/reedreslife\/files\/2012\/11\/mm5-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/reedreslife\/files\/2012\/11\/mm5.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Some were more convincing than others.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/reedreslife\/files\/2012\/11\/mm6.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-627 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/reedreslife\/files\/2012\/11\/mm6-300x214.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"214\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/reedreslife\/files\/2012\/11\/mm6-300x214.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.reed.edu\/reedreslife\/files\/2012\/11\/mm6.jpg 530w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In the end, we were all tricked by the real murderer\u2013\u2013a foreign chocolate-maker disguised as a town resident.
