Half-price lodging at Reedfayre ’12

Recognizing that many alumni and their families travel a fair distance to get here for Reunions ’12: Reedfayre, May 30-June 3, we are pleased to offer half-price lodging in the dorms (for any/all nights that week). It is not Club Med, but the price is right: $25 per bed for the duration, if you register online before March 1!

You may be pleasantly surprised by the design and comfort of Reed’s newer dorms (now called “residence halls”), especially those built in the last 10 years. Five new structures were built in 2007, sustainably built and designed as smaller, more intimate houses after the example of Anna Mann. Also, there is a gorgeous new Spanish House that completes the cluster of language houses, now connected by an inviting outdoor plaza.

Sure, everyone wants to stay in Old Dorm Block, but read about all of the unique residence halls on campus these days. Each room includes a single bed, towels, and linens, and access to mixed-gender communal bathrooms.

We make every effort to place alumni from the same decade in the same dorm, but encourage you to register early for best results. Couples and families will be housed in the same room or in connecting rooms. Conspire with your tribe and let them know of this great deal!
