Hi, incoming Reedies!
We want to thank all of you who have been filling out your housing forms over the last few weeks and to apologize for the frustration that the roommate search process may be causing. We are using a new housing management system this year and have unfortunately been dealing with some technical difficulties. We are working on getting them fixed, but we cannot guarantee that the roommate search function will be working properly before this Saturday, June 15, when housing forms are due. If you have a specific roommate in mind you can certainly email us (res.life@reed.edu) the name of the person you would like to live with and we will do our best to honor your request. Please keep in mind that roommate requests need to be mutual, so we will need to receive an email from both students. If you do not have a specific roommate in mind, don’t worry. We will match you up with someone based on your answers to your profile questions. Thanks so much for your patience while we work out the kinks of this new system. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions and we’ll be in touch with your room assignment in early August. We look forward to welcoming you on campus!
