Next Wednesday (March 5), Reed Arts Week 2k14 opens with new exhibitions and performances. The annual, student-curated arts festival brings artists from the US and abroad to showcase their artistic talents for 5 days.
RAW’s theme reveal poster from earlier this year
This year’s theme is “Daemon.”
The theme “Daemon,” according to the RAW coordinators, is “rooted in Ancient Greek religion as an invisible presence with an inexplicable will.”
Sounds creepy and cool, right? The program features animators, dancers, musicians, and multi-media artists, all of whom will explore this theme. Best of all, RAW is open to the public.
