Tomorrow the annual Theme & Language Housing Fair will be held in GCC-D from 5:30 to 7:30pm. Representatives from new and returning themes, as well as the language houses, will be present with snacks for all and information about their unique living option. The Theme & Language Housing Fair is a perfect opportunity to ask questions, start brainstorming future projects, and get a sense of the different communities before registration for the housing lottery opens on Friday. (Be sure to note that theme and language house applications are due by March 1st!)
We’re particularly excited to welcome two new living communities to the Res Life family, the Bike Coop and the Afrophilic living community! Students will be able to apply to live in these theme communities in the 2015-2016 academic year through the housing portal.
Also returning are previous themes, such as The Co-ops, Random House, and the Justice League, as well as all six of Reed’s language house communities. For more information about theme communities and language houses, visit our website. Or, check out the events category on our blog to see some of the residence hall events previously organized by theme communities.
