Hi Everyone:
Like Mara, I’ll also be blogging throughout the rest of the summer and into the 2015/2016 school year! I’m a rising senior Psychology major, and I’ve been an HA for 2 years and a summer.
One of my favorite things to tell people is that I chose to major in psychology because it’s the closest thing I can find to majoring in friendship, so that should tell you a lot about me, I really love people!
In addition to my love for being around people, I adore running. Portland, and especially the area around Reed has some amazing running spots. When I’m not injured, you’ll often find me running through Oak’s Bottom in Sellwood, along the Springwater Corridor, or through the lovely neighborhood south of Woodstock.

I’m an early riser and often show up in Commons as soon as it opens at 7:30–when the commons croissants are warm from the oven and so so so delicious!
Other things I love include: yoga, dancing, and moving in any way, eating (especially burritos and cookie dough ice cream), drinking tons of coffee, taking long walks (no really), cuddling with any and all animals, and making lists.
Fun fact: if you live in my dorm next year (ODB Westport woooO!) you will have a tree-dwelling animal themed door tag. My dorms the last two years were sloths (2013/2014) and koalas (2014/2015). Not sure what I’ll do this year but I’ll try to make it adorable!
