Thank you everyone for attending our highly-anticipated Karaoke Night event! We had so much fun sharing songs and experiencing songs from around the world (I still have 小蘋果 stuck in my head…). The Language Lab invites you to our annual highly-anticipated KARAOKE NIGHT! We’ll be singing songs in all languages and dancing the night away! You bring your voice and we’ll bring the snacks, disco lights, and snazzy multilingual vibes. We hope to sing with you there!

GHOST STORY TELLING AND CRAFT NIGHT AT THE LANGUAGE LAB

As the weather gets colder and the workload gets heavier, the Language Lab is here to remind you to have a bit of fun! Everyone is welcome to this evening of exchanging spooky cultural folklore, puppet-making, and free snacks and drinks. Be there or else…

LANGUAGE LAB AT REED RESOURCE EXPO

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 18, 11:30-1:30, QUAD (KAUL IN CASE OF RAIN)

You heard right. Get excited: the Language Labbies shall be attending the ball (Reed Student Resource Expo)! Ourselves and (of course) Pulpi the octopus will be tabling at the expo to show you all — student, staff, and faculty — the wonders of our humble oasis in the basement of the library.

If our mere presence is not enough to summon you, we offer you the chance to voice your opinion and maybe win a prize in our recommendation raffle! Also, the event is great way to learn more about the resources available to students in general, and free food will be provided.

Spring has sprung in the Language Lab, and we’re hosting a study session to get you through the final stretch of your language classes! Stop by the Language Lab for study snacks, cozy vibes, and the opportunity to work with our language tutors! Bring your friends, classmates, and study group!

Language Lab x IPO Trivia Night!

We’re going around the world in just 2 hours at the Language Lab x IPO (International Programs Office) Trivia Night! We’re serving up tricky questions, information about studying abroad, and also pizza!

When: Wednesday, March 12 from 6-8 pm

Come tour the Language Houses as part of the Housing Application process for the 2025-2026 school year! House Advisors and Language Scholars for each house will be available to give tours of each house and answer questions about the selection process. Food and drinks will be available!
