We are happy to report some preliminary numbers from the big serials review project we’ve been working on this year.
Number of titles cancelled completely: 186
Cost savings: $61,774.80
Number of print titles converted to online only: 416
Cost savings: $121,083.54
Number of bound volumes withdrawn: 5877
Number of those volumes sent to other institutions: 4930
Number of shelves emptied:Â 245
Thanks to all of our terrific faculty partners in this project. It’s been a big undertaking but the cost savings and shelf-spaced gained have been well worth it!
