Health-O-Ween Meditation Returns Next Tuesday

Did you know that Reed College celebrates a special once-a-year holiday called Health-O-Ween? H-O-Ween is sponsored by Reed’s Wellness Committee, a Reed community group that highlights a spectrum of wellness activities for the Reed community.

Health-O-Ween activities announced by the Wellness Committee for next week include:

Monday, 10/29
“Cauldron Cook-off” HEALTHY RECIPES submission
Do you have foods you feel are “cursed” with nutrition AND yummy flavor?
Share your favorite recipe! We’ll compile your tasty treats and tips for
healthier options, and share them with the Wellness email list.

Tuesday, 10/30
“Monster Meditation” MEDITATION
This is “Monster” in that it is scary-amazing that this meditation
opportunity is generally available to the entire community at Reed every
Tuesday at noon throughout the year in our very own beautiful chapel.
For more details, please click here

Wednesday, 10/31
“Walking Dead” WALK starting at Eliot circle between 12 noon and 12:10pm
No, we won’t require you to demonstrate your best “Zombie Walk” but we
welcome and encourage you to do so! Zombie shuffle or monster walk with
us in your costume, or not, but join us for a 30 minute stroll through
the beautiful neighborhoods to the south of Reed Campus.

GRAND PRIZE: When you participate in any of the above activities, you will
receive an entry into the raffle drawing to win an Instapot!
